Message from Bulgarian Ambassador Augustina Tzvetkova

Dear guests,

Dear friends,
I am delighted to welcome you to today at the concert dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union by which we also open this year’s edition of the Sarajevo Winter Festival.
I feel honoured and privileged to open such a cultural event in Sarajevo, the capital of friendly Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This evening we will have the opportunity to enjoy the performance of the Bulgarian Representative Guard Orchestra with Chief conductor Maestro Radi Radev.

The repertoire for the ”Meeting of Cultures: from Brass to Jazz” concert has been selected in line with this year’s motto of the Sarajevo Winter Festival –”The Other Face of the World”, in the spirit of the slogan of the first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union – ”United We Stand Strong”.
Let today’s concert unite us through the universal language of music, commemorating unity through diversity. The unity, reconciliation, cooperation, and interaction between the Western Balkan countries, reaffirmed yesterday with the Western Balkans Strategy, will lead them to a full-fledged member of the European Union and will guarantee their prosperity and welfare.

Bulgaria is making and will continue to make efforts for accelerating the process of the European integration. Bosnia and Herzegovina can rely on our support.

United We Stand Strong!
